Series Introduction

GSE will be publishing a number of article series that will help clarify the primary values delivered by GSE products within the various industries that GSE supports. These article series will focus on how specific products deliver measurable ROI across various industries with real world examples in each of those industries. The goal is to help customers, partners, and resellers understand exactly how people can save time, save money, or save lives using GSE products to augment their daily operations.

Major Theme: Saving Time with GSE

The Saving Time Series will focus on the ways in which GSE products can help people spend less time doing tasks that are time consuming or otherwise inefficient when done manually. The examples in the series will help managers trace their investment in tracking and data solutions back to operational labor hours recovered. For many of GSE's clients with at least 3 tracked assets, a single use of the reporting feature saves them enough labor hours to justify the entire month of service.

Saving time in operations isn't just about eliminating the time consumptive hours that artificially inflate labor costs; saving time is also about freeing those hours up to perform tasks that are more effective at driving value. Every hour that an owner-operator doesn't have to spend running manual reporting processes, logging activity manually, or locating assets, for example, is an hour gained for more productive work. Let the machines do the things that machines are more efficient at doing so that people can contribute their brain power to more complex and challenging problems.
